- gothice cream typeface
custom lettering experiment that started as an entry for supremebeing™ design-a-typeface competition. gothicecream is exploring a mash-up between esthetics of a bubble-style typeface and blackletter typeface. i like to think of the result as a ideal typeface for gothic ice cream packaging. the new born letters does not respect traditional blackletter construction rules. let’s call it pinkletter typeface.

along 7 other super creatives aargh made it to the finals of cut&paste berlin design battle. on 02/02/2012 in volksbuehne, berlin we were supposed to create a t-shirt design with the topic ‘facebook is watching you’ in 15 minutes live on stage. it seems hard but you would be surprised what ammount of work you are able to create within 15 minutes after a intense bootcamp.

en: 22 individuals were briefed to recreate 20 iconic paintings by alfons mucha from the slav epic series to present new approach to the themes and contemporary club culture. all 20 artworks were exhibited on designblok2011 in the pepsi-refresh your world booth. aargh was one of them, check the result and making of pictures, yeah!
cz: 22 osobnostem bylo zadano predelat 20 legendarnich platen alfonse muchy z cyklu slovanska epopej. platna mela predstavit novy pristup k puvodnim tematum a soucasnou klubovou kulturu. vsech 20 del bylo vystaveno na designblok2011 v pepsi-refresh your world zone, mezi nimi bylo i aargh platno, podivej na vysledek a fotky z vyroby, jeah!

en: yeah, zeah summertime is coming with the smell of spraypaint, eating out and burned necks. the weather was so good, that we decided to have a small (9 hours) waste-a-can session with junk+lndt at milovice. have a look at the attacked whole rooftop construction here. team hellzeah!
